FAQ

Your questions, our answers.

The essentials before you start — pricing, ownership, process and visibility.

Pricing & commitment

How much does a website cost?

A website starts at 890 CHF with OlympOS. That price includes a professional page with custom design, display adapted to every screen, a contact form, the security certificate (SSL) and the SEO foundations that make your site readable by Google. The final price depends on the modules and options you choose — each one announced upfront, with no surprises.

Why fixed prices rather than hourly billing?

At OlympOS, every service has a price announced in advance, never billed by the hour. You know exactly what you're paying before we start, and the invoice holds no surprises. If a need falls outside the agreed scope, it becomes an option at the catalogue price, always confirmed with you before any work begins.

Is the first meeting free?

The first meeting is free and with no commitment: a 30-to-45-minute call to understand your business, your needs and your priorities. If you decide to continue, the second meeting (on-site, 190 CHF) is where we present a first prototype of your project — and those 190 CHF are fully deducted from the final price if we work together.

Ownership & independence

Do I own my site and my code?

Yes: at OlympOS, the site, the code, the content and the domain name belong entirely to you, and the domain is registered in your name from the start. OlympOS handles running the site — hosting, security, backups — but ownership stays yours, from the first day to the last.

What happens if I want to change provider one day?

You can take over whenever you wish, with no friction. When you leave, OlympOS transfers all your access to you — code, content, domain, accounts — cleanly and in full. Nothing is locked: you're tied to OlympOS only by your own choice to be.

Process & timelines

How does a project unfold, from A to Z?

An OlympOS project follows four clear steps. First a free initial meeting to pin down your needs. Then an on-site meeting (190 CHF, credited to the project) where we present a prototype of your future site. Then the build, followed by two rounds of revisions. Finally the handover: your site goes live, we train you to use it, and everything is transferred to you. The whole thing is counted in days, not months.

How many revisions are included?

Two rounds of revisions are included in every OlympOS project. After the build, you have these two rounds to adjust, refine and approve every detail before going live — enough to reach a result you're fully happy with, without the project dragging on indefinitely.

What is a round of revisions?

A round of revisions is a batch of adjustments that you gather and send us at once, and that we handle together. Rather than reworking the site piece by piece, you take the time to collect all your feedback on the delivered version — a text to change, a colour to adjust, a photo to replace — and we apply the whole batch in one pass. Every OlympOS project includes two rounds. The adjustments concern what was planned from the start; a request that falls outside the agreed scope, such as an extra page or a new feature, is not a revision but an option, priced in advance.

The modules ("gods")

Why are your services named after Greek gods?

Each OlympOS service is named after a Greek god because each one answers a specific need — like a pantheon where you call on the right god for the situation. Apollon builds your site, Chronos manages your bookings, Midas your online shop, Hermes your visibility, Athena your custom tools. You activate the one you need today, and add the others when the time is right.

Can I combine several modules?

Yes: OlympOS modules are designed to work alone or together, at your own pace. You can start with a site (Apollon), then add booking (Chronos) or a shop (Midas) later — each module integrates cleanly with the others. Nothing forces you to take everything on day one.

What's the difference between Apollon (the site) and Hermes (visibility)?

Apollon makes your site readable by Google; Hermes makes it found. Apollon builds the site and lays the technical SEO foundations so search engines can read it. Hermes goes further: Google Business profile, local ranking, presence in searches and in AI answers, measurement of results — it's the module that brings clients to you. A readable site is not yet a site that gets found: that's the whole difference.

Visibility & technical

Will my site be visible on Google?

Every site built by OlympOS is readable by Google from the day it's delivered. The SEO foundations are included in Apollon: registration with Google Search Console, sitemap submitted, optimised titles and descriptions, clean page structure and fast loading times. To go beyond readability and truly get found — appearing at the top of local searches, on Google Maps — that's the role of the Hermes module.

And in answers from AIs like ChatGPT?

Yes, and that's exactly what the Hermes module from OlympOS does. AIs like ChatGPT or Perplexity rely in part on the Bing index: Hermes submits your site there and writes your pages in answer-blocks that these AIs can cite directly. We also track mentions of your business in these tools. In full transparency, visibility in AIs is more volatile than on Google and no one can guarantee a citation — but a well-structured site clearly increases your chances.

Practical

Who do you work with, and where are you based?

OlympOS is a Swiss digital studio based in St. Gallen, working with freelancers and small businesses across Switzerland. We support those who pursue their craft with seriousness and who need clean digital tools, without makeshift fixes. We work in French and German.

Am I required to take a monthly subscription?

You're not required to take a growth subscription, but every site online needs a foundation: a domain name, hosting and security updates. That's the role of the OlympOS Essentiel subscription, at 49 CHF/month — the minimum that keeps your site online, fast and protected. Beyond that, the Hermes visibility tiers are entirely optional and chosen according to your ambitions. In every case, you remain the owner of everything and free to leave.
